LARKSPUR MEDIA INC. · LOS ANGELES
Privacy policy
What Larkspur collects, why we use it, who may receive it and the choices available to you.
1. Scope and contact
This Privacy Policy explains how Larkspur Media Inc. collects, uses, discloses, retains and protects personal information through this website and any live creator-network services that link to it. Larkspur is the business responsible for this information. Questions and privacy requests may be sent to hello@larkspur.tech.
2. Current website forms
The join form currently available on this website is a design preview. It validates inside your browser and does not send, store or create a profile. Do not enter sensitive information. Before live submission is enabled, Larkspur must display a notice at collection and connect the form to the practices described here.
3. Categories of information
When live services are enabled, we may collect identifiers and contact details; age or eligibility information; social profile links, public account information and audience metrics; location and campaign preferences; communications; accepted briefs, action evidence and review records; payout, tax and identity-verification information; and technical data such as IP address, browser, device, referring page, timestamps and security logs. We do not ask for social-media passwords or login codes.
4. Sources
We may receive information directly from you; from public social profiles and the platforms you choose to use; from campaign partners; from payment, identity, fraud-prevention and tax providers; from hosting and security providers; and from records created when you interact with Larkspur.
5. Purposes
We use information to review applications, communicate with creators, match and administer campaigns, present and record consent, verify eligibility and completed actions, process payouts and tax reporting, provide support, secure the service, prevent fraud and abuse, keep required business records, enforce agreements, comply with law and improve the service. We will not use information for a materially different purpose without appropriate notice or consent.
6. Disclosure to others
We may disclose information to campaign partners as reasonably needed for a campaign; to payment, identity, tax, hosting, analytics, communication, security and support vendors acting under contract; to professional advisers and transaction counterparties subject to safeguards; and to authorities or other parties when required by law, to protect rights and safety or to investigate abuse. The category and purpose of any partner-facing disclosure should be stated at collection or in the campaign receipt.
7. Sale, sharing and advertising
Larkspur does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 18. We do not currently use advertising cookies. If these practices change, we will update this policy, provide required opt-out methods and honor legally recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control where applicable.
8. Cookies, analytics and Do Not Track
The site may use essential storage needed for functions such as the rotating logo and security. Hosting providers may process standard request logs. We do not currently use cross-site behavioral tracking, so a browser Do Not Track signal does not change our present practices. Other websites and social platforms may collect information under their own policies when you visit them.
9. California privacy rights
Subject to applicable law and exceptions, California residents may request to know the categories, sources, purposes, recipients and specific pieces of personal information collected about them; request deletion; request correction; opt out of sale or sharing; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and receive equal service without retaliation for exercising privacy rights. Larkspur will not discriminate against you for a valid request.
10. Exercising a request
Send a request to hello@larkspur.tech and describe the right you wish to exercise. We will confirm receipt, verify identity using information proportionate to the request and respond within the period required by law. An authorized agent may submit a request with proof of authority; we may also verify the request directly with you. We will explain any denial or partial denial and available appeal or complaint path.
11. Access and account updates
You may ask to review or correct information you submitted by emailing hello@larkspur.tech from the address associated with your profile. Some records may be retained where necessary to complete a transaction, prevent fraud, maintain tax or payment records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements or comply with law.
12. Retention
We retain application and profile information while considering or maintaining a relationship and then for a limited period for re-contact, unless you request deletion or law requires longer. Campaign, payment, tax, consent, fraud and dispute records are retained for the applicable legal and operational periods. Security logs are kept for a shorter period appropriate to investigation and system protection. At the end of the relevant period, information is deleted, aggregated or de-identified.
13. Security and incident response
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed for the nature of the information, including access limits, vendor review and secure transmission where appropriate. No system is perfectly secure. We investigate suspected incidents and provide notices to affected people and authorities when required by California or other applicable law.
14. Children
Larkspur’s services are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact hello@larkspur.tech so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
15. Processing locations
Larkspur is based in California. Vendors may process information in other U.S. states or countries, where different laws may apply. We select providers and use contractual, organizational and technical safeguards appropriate to the information and service.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service, vendors or law changes. The effective date identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice before a material change applies to information already collected when required by law.
